All orders are packed by hand in our studio. This is the best way to reach us for order updates.

We typically respond within 5–7 business days, often sooner.

How long does it take to receive my Verameat order?

Most orders ship within 1–5 business days.

During sales, launches, or our NY → LA move, processing may take up to 7 business days.

Once shipped, delivery time depends on the shipping method selected at checkout.

Yes! Orders come gift-ready in a Verameat box with VM postcards.
You can write your own message, or email us a note and we’ll hand-write it for you 🖤

Does my order come with a packing slip/receipt?

Orders do not come with the packing slip/receipt in the package. 

EXCHANGES/REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS

Can I change or cancel my order?

We start packing quickly, so changes or cancellations aren’t guaranteed once an order is placed.

If you catch it right away, email us ASAP and we’ll do our best 💌

Do you accept returns?

Yes, unused, unworn items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

ABOUT THE JEWELRY

Our chains are soldered and made of high-quality material. Every item comes gift ready with stickers, postcards, and boxes or pouches! 

Verameat jewelry is made using a mix of:

  • Solid sterling silver

  • 14k gold plated brass

  • Stainless steel

  • Natural stones and specialty finishes

Some charms are 14k gold plated over high-quality brass. Over time, with wear, the gold plating may naturally soften or rub, revealing the brass underneath. Brass is a beautiful, durable metal with a warmer, more subtle tone similar to 10k gold, while 14k gold plating offers a richer, more yellow gold color.

Many customers love the way pieces evolve with wear, and both finishes are designed to age beautifully.

Vermeil + Rope Chain Note
Chains marked Vermeil (including styles that look like the rope chain) are sterling silver underneath with a gold layer on top. Our chains are soldered for strength and everyday wear.

Each product page lists the specific materials used.

Can rings be reshaped?

Yes, many of our rings are adjustable and meant to be lived in.

For small tweaks, rings can be gently reshaped using a ring mandrel and a leather or rubber hammer. Always adjust slowly and with care.

JEWELRY CARE

Will your jewelry tarnish?
No jewelry is completely tarnish-proof. Skin chemistry, moisture, and wear all play a role.

If you’re sensitive to tarnish, we recommend sterling silver or stainless steel pieces. With proper care, our jewelry holds up beautifully, we wear it daily ourselves ✨

How do I clean or polish my jewelry?
For sterling silver:

  • Gently buff with a soft jewelry polishing cloth

  • Use baking soda + water paste if needed

  • White toothpaste also works in a pinch

For copper:

  • Use lemon + salt, rinse, and dry thoroughly

Always store jewelry in a dry place when not worn.
